  • Ingredients (serves 4):
    600 g chicken breast
    60 g bacon
    2 onions
    1 zucchini
    1 red pepper
    3 cloves garlic
    4 tbsp. oil
Sage, oregano, thyme (fresh or dried)
    Ground white pepper, salt
  • For the dip:
    100 g Roquefort or Gorgonzola
    150 g sour cream
    2 tbsp. mayonnaise
    Juice from half a lemon
    Salt
Instructions:
1. Cut the chicken meat into even slices, put into a bowl, add fresh chopped herbs, pressed garlic, 2 tablespoons of oil, salt and pepper and blend. Leave to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
2. Crumble the cheese into a dish, add a tablespoon of sour cream and mash until smooth. Add the remaining cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, season with salt, blend everything well and put into the refrigerator.
3. Cut the bacon, onions and red pepper into slices and the zucchini into circles.
4. Alternately thread the thus-prepared vegetables together with the marinated meat and bacon onto skewers.
5. Slowly fry the skewers on a heated frying pan for 8 to 10 minutes on all sides.
6. Before serving, garnish the fried skewers with cheese dip using lettuce and cherry tomatoes. Goes well with a baguette toasted in the oven.
